Apply a pea-sized amount with fingers and rub in until it is invisible. To soften up, rub between fingers before applying directly to underarms.

For a regular day, one application in the morning should be fine. For hotter days, workouts or if you’re particularly sweaty, feel free to reapply as needed.

DellaNatura deodorant is not an anti-perspirant so you may need to reapply from time to time. Most deodorants use aluminum/ aluminum-based salts, which works to block our sweat glands. But remember, sweating is good as it supports detoxification. You may need a couple days after switching to all-natural deodorant, and if you feel like you are sweating a lot, be patient, it will normalize after a week or so of use.

Because we use all natural oils and no stabilizers, DellaNatura deodorant may change consistency depending on the temperature. In warm climates, your deodorant may feel softer and in cold climates, it may harden up. DellaNatura contains coconut oil, which has a melting point of 76 degrees, and shea butter, which has a melting point of 90 degrees. We recommend storing at temperature. The effectiveness will stay the same, regardless of consistency.

Organic Arrowroot Powder is a natural sweat-absorbent. It also has anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory qualities. It feels very much like corn starch but has a finer texture and creates a silky consistency that feels powdery after application. We also love organic arrowroot powder because it nourishes the skin and has antimicrobial properties. Shea Butter is a natural moisturizer that has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Della Natura uses refined shea butter to keep the deodorant base neutral in scent. Coconut Oil, like Shea Butter, is a natural moisturizer. Also, because it contains lauric acid, it is considered antibacterial. It also is highly used in the natural cosmetics world because of its ability to soothe our skin and reduce inflammation. Sodium Bicarbonate, known also as baking soda, has antibacterial and antifungal properties. This is the primary ingredient in our deodorant that helps eliminate body odor. Essential Oils are used in our deodorant to provide a lovely scent, and many of the essential oils we use also have antibacterial properties to help keep body odors at bay. We are very intentional about the essential oils we select for our products, and do not spare cost when it comes to reputable brands.

If kept in a cool, dry place, DellaNatura deodorant will last 6-12 months.

Some people can be sensitive to baking soda. We keep our baking soda to a minimum -- just enough to hold the B.O. at bay -- but if you still feel that it is too strong, try waiting an hour after shaving to apply.
